Clients analyse all dissolved gases in their fish farms with our gas analyser to understand the composition of the gases. This helps them to identify the root cause of a possible supersaturation which is harmful to all fish. In order to take appropriate action to remove supersaturation it is very helpful to know all partial pressures of the dissolved gases. If e.g. the super saturation is caused by too high nitrogen levels it may help to strip the nitrogen with oxygen or use a different type of oxygen injector (e.g. an oxygen cone).

As well the gas analyser supports clients to stop the typcial stripping of dissolved CO2 caused by a badly constructed oxygen injection system. This is one of the most common reasons for gill problems in aqua culture. If oxygen is injected without considering the CO2 levels the stripping of CO2 can cause alkalosis (too little dissolved CO2 leads to gill problems).
