Applications in Aqua Culture:
Typically the saturometer is being used in fish farms world wide to detect and avoid the gas bubble disease. Our clients install the saturometer often where a cold water inflow is being heated up. The rising temperature there makes the water release a lot of gas which leads in consequence to super saturation. Some clients use the saturometer to optimse their plants to get rid of super saturation caused by wrong construction of pipes and injection systems for oxygen. Others combine the saturometer with our oxygen sensor to improve the oxygen injection (as side effect a lot of money can be saved on technical oxygen).

Environmental monitoring:
A very interesting project takes place in Norway at present. Some of the most famous salmon rivers in Norway suffer from super saturation due to various causes. Our saturometers are installed there as complete online stations including a heated cabinet, a data logger and a GSM modem. The data are uploaded to a protected website. Our client can supervise the salmon rivers from his offices in Bergen.
